Depending on the assignment, a Superintendent may be responsible for work activities at a Department of Energy Category II Nuclear Facility, Non-Nuclear Facility, or both. - Moderate level experience directing multi discipline craft in the performance of facility maintenance, facility modification or construction projects.
- Moderate level knowledge of interpreting various mechanical and electrical documents, specifications, drawings, and schematics.
- Moderate level of understanding and identifying work place hazards and implementing safety policies and procedures to mitigate hazards.
- Moderate level of experience reviewing project plans and coordinating with project team members to develop project cost estimates and execution schedules.
- Ability to track projects through all stages of execution and provide project updates when requested.
- Ability to of identify problem areas that could lead to project impacts, track project impacts and to perform trend analysis to provide process improvement ideas to increase efficiency.
- Moderate to Expert level knowledge of the lock-out/tag-out process.
