Thin Films Module Engineering Manager

onsemi is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager as an integral member of the management team. The successful candidate will have significant leadership and engineering / technical experience in a high-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to engage a diverse team.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technical field and 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Eight (8) plus years of semiconductor experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Three (3) plus years' leadership experience in positions with a demonstrated ability in an engineering or operations discipline Fluent in English Language - written & verbal Must have permanent right to work in the US without sponsorship

Salary:

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $110,700 to $188,100 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to a team of Engineers Perform regular formal and informal employee performance assessments; determine raises and bonuses working within prescribed proscribed budgets and guidelines Direct your team's efforts in responding to planned and urgent unplanned events to ensure FAB operations meet production, delivery, quality, and cost objectives Modules will include CVD and PVD Direct and help prioritize your team's projects to optimize time to qualify and implement changes that support top goals of cost reduction, quality and productivity improvements Educate, coach and mentor both engineers and technicians as they progress in their career. Work with direct reports in establishing company and career goals in the form of development plans and training Participate and drive formal structured problem solving after an event occurs to determine root cause and institute changes to prevent reoccurrence. Use data trends and alarm indicators to drive system operations on a day-to-day basis Be an agent for change, challenge the status quo, and drive "Best in Class" performance for critical success indicators across the Enterprise in a manner that encourages and achieves "buy in" by all stakeholders Be able to drive Continuous Improvement activities. Establish, promote and foster a work environment characterized by mutual trust and respect, open and honest communications, teamwork and a passion for winning Occasional travel may be required Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
