Summary of Role:
Join the FinFET Product Development team, where we transform state-of-the-art research into innovative, high-volume production-ready technology features. Our Technology Development team is an integral part of
GLOBALFOUNDRIES' CMOS
product line. As a Program Manager for Technology Development, you will play a key role in driving advanced semiconductor technology programs at GLOBALFOUNDRIES' world-class 300 mm wafer fab (Fab 8) in Malta, NY.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the execution of complex semiconductor engineering development programs. Own the overall program schedule, resource planning, and coordination of milestone deliverables. Ensure a smooth and efficient transition from development into high-volume production. Lead cross-functional teams of experts, defining tasks and work packages to ensure on-time, in-quality program completion. Collaborate closely with Product Management, PDK, Modeling, and IP teams. Communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels, internally and with customers.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications M.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field; a PhD is an advantage. Strong knowledge of modern CMOS process integration and key techniques such as CVD, lithography, and RIE. Understanding of Test Chip Design, T/O, Design Rules, and Technology-Design Interactions. 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry. Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis techniques/tools. Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira. Excellent English communication skills. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualification Beneficial experience in semiconductor volume manufacturing, statistical methods, FMEA/8D methodology, customer interaction, and multicultural team environments. Expected Salary Range $118,000.00 - $210,000.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location. The role you are applying for may require you to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance at some time during your employment.
