Job Description

Plans, organizes, implements, Facilities and Engineering activities and staff, including plant operations, maintenance, construction, regulatory compliance and grounds at the Newburgh and Cornwall campuses and select off-site locations. Ensures the efficient operations of the hospital's infrastructure, medical and non-medical equipment, manages facility work order program, maintenance of building and grounds and assures a safe and comfortable environment for patients, guests, and employees. Influences policies that achieve health equity, promote wellness, and protect against inequity for people of marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required. In the absence of a Bachelor's degree, a candidate may be considered if the experience level is significantly higher than the minimum years required. Ability to read, write and communicate in
English Experience:
Minimum of Three (3) years of engineering, mechanical and facilities management experience as well as knowledge and familiarity with oversight of construction and facilities expansion/management. knowledge base of HVAC, mechanical and electrical repair and total building systems in the health care industry. Knowledge of Joint Commission Requirements and State Administrative Codes. At least three (3) years as a Manager in the Healthcare Engineering field required.
Licensure, Registration or Certification:
Valid NYS Driver's License, NYS Refrigeration Recovery; HVAC certification, or Licensed electrician, preferred
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
