Electrical Engineering Manager - FPGA Rochester, NY $115k-$140k (Flexible Depending on Experience) Join our client's innovative team as an Electrical Engineering Manager with a specialized focus on FPGA and digital design. In this crucial leadership role, you will oversee the development of secure tactical communication products, guiding a talented team of embedded FPGA engineers to deliver cutting-edge wireless communication systems. Required Skills:
8+ years of experience in FPGA and firmware development Proven leadership skills in managing engineering teams and projects Expertise in FPGA firmware design, digital system design, and radio communication applications Strong ability to manage resources, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration Knowledge of FPGA development processes and best practices Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with wireless communication system hardware Familiarity with secure communication protocols and standards Experience in creating cost estimates and project scheduling Knowledge of embedded system development
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's or higher preferred) 8+ years of relevant FPGA and firmware development experience Demonstrated leadership in a technical environment, with experience managing teams and projects
Other Requirements:
Ability to achieve a US Security Clearance Willingness to work in collaborative, fast-paced project environments
