U.S. Citizen required (Security Clearance eligible) Job Summary Lead a team of engineers and designers while serving as the technical lead for mechanical product design, development, testing, and production support within an aerospace/defense environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members Support hiring, workforce planning, and performance management Drive mechanical design decisions for new and existing products Develop and validate mechanical designs and engineering solutions Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design analysis Support FEA, thermal, vibration, shock, and structural evaluations Provide technical input for proposals (RFPs) and customer reviews Troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues Partner with Quality and Manufacturing teams on corrective actions Ensure compliance with
AS9100, ISO
9001, and customer standards Required Skills Mechanical engineering leadership experience CAD experience (SolidWorks, NX, Solid Edge, etc.) GD&T (ASME
