$90,000 - $140,000 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor and is comfortable managing complex mechanical systems across healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial construction projects. This organization is a full-service mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, fabrication, and service for large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout the region. Key Responsibilities Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and constructability issues Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall project documentation Oversee procurement of equipment and long-lead materials Coordinate with fabrication teams and support prefabrication efforts Support BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection processes Monitor project progress, safety, and quality performance Lead commissioning, turnover, and project closeout processes Qualifications 3+ years of experience in mechanical or HVAC project management Experience on commercial or industrial construction projects (healthcare, education, manufacturing, etc.) Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and/or plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor Exposure to prefabrication/fabrication workflows Experience with BIM/VDC coordination Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects OSHA certification or strong safety background Additional Information Candidates who complete skills assessments and screening questions will be prioritized in the application process.
