They will oversee the production uptime efforts, process development, enhancement implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive technological advancements, streamline operations, and foster a culture of excellence. The role offers an exciting opportunity to shape manufacturing strategies and lead a talented team dedicated to operational success. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing engineering initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production processes and implement effective corrective actions. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation capabilities. Oversee tooling fabrication, welding processes, and fabrication activities within the manufacturing facility. Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize assembly lines, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards and maintain documentation for process and engineering activities. Collaborate with industrial engineers and mechanical engineers to develop process improvements. Supervise factory experience initiatives related to industrial equipment maintenance, tooling upgrades, and factory layout enhancements. Lead efforts in robotics integration, CNC programming, schematic development, and factory automation projects. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred. Proven experience in manufacturing or factory management roles with a focus on process engineering or industrial engineering. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in assembly lines, fabrication, tooling design, and mechanical systems. Expertise in project scheduling tools and methodologies for managing multiple concurrent projects effectively. Proficiency with SolidWorks, or other CAD experience with schematics, tooling, and floor layout design is essential. Skilled in PLC programming, CNC programming and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of TIG welding processes and associated tooling techniques. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement strategies, ISO 9001 standards, and industrial equipment maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis (A3, 5 why, fishbone, 8D) ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and accurately. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
