Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their Oklahoma City team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading diverse land development projects and mentoring engineering staff while contributing to high‑quality work across commercial, institutional, residential, industrial, and redevelopment sites.

You will lead project teams from concept through construction, ensuring technical excellence, effective client communication, and strong project delivery. This includes managing schedules, budgets, and quality control while also guiding junior engineers in the development of site layouts, grading plans, utilities, stormwater systems, and water quality solutions.

You will work closely with clients, contractors, and local government officials, influencing every stage of a project from initial design and regulatory review through bidding, construction, and final completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Lead the preparation of land development plans for a range of commercial, residential, and institutional clients
  • Oversee site layouts, grading plans, utility design, stormwater management facilities, and water quality best practices
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality control of engineering deliverables
  • Guide, mentor, and support junior engineers in their development
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, project scopes, and schedules
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and maintaining strong relationships
  • Collaborate with contractors and local government officials during design, review, and construction phases
  • Support business development through networking and client interactionQualifications
  • Eight or more years of civil engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to mentor staff and support professional growth
  • Ability to perform detailed technical review of civil engineering documents
  • Experience preparing proposals and managing project execution
