Area Transportation Lead Civil Flux Resources, LLC United States, Oregon, Redmond Mar 09, 2026
Available Locations:
Redmond, Oregon Summary Flux Resources is seeking a Area Transportation Civil Lead to join one of our clients. In this role, you will work directly with senior firm leadership to develop and implement strategies to develop client relationships and transportation-related opportunities in the Central Oregon area. You will work directly with clients to successfully deliver a variety of transportation projects. AP offers transportation engineering services to DOTs and other local public agencies including roadways, streets, sidewalks, pedestrian facilities, and small bridges and culverts. If you enjoy project development, project management, client and contractor interaction, and working directly with senior firm partners, or if you are looking to expand your leadership skills as the next step in your career, then this is an opportunity to seriously consider. Responsibilities You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of multiple projects including funding, scope, fee and contract development; project planning; project permitting; cost estimating, pre-design work, design, specifications, and bidding document preparation; construction support, and project closeout. You will be responsible for working with senior firm management to develop project opportunities, assisting our marketing team with developing proposals, making project assignments, and overseeing internal staff and various subconsultants. As workload increases, you will participate in hiring, training, developing, and overseeing staff and project managers for the Central Oregon area. Qualifications- A four-year civil engineering degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
- A Professional Engineer's License in Oregon or the ability to obtain one within 6-months of employment.
- Valid driver's license
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Public speaking skills with experience participating in meetings with clients, the public, and contractors
- Experience in developing and writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders
- Project management experience including managing subconsultants
- Ability to lead, train, motivate others and contribute to a team environment
- Experience in developing effective long-lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management
- Experience with ODOT related work.
