• In this function you will:
• Serve as the technical lead for Residential Enclosure projects that expand the product portfolio, partnering within cross functional teams including Product Line Management, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
• Provide technical product input to Eaton business processes, including Technical Roadmaps, Strategic Planning, Waterfalling, and Profit Planning.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership in resolving complex product and technical issues, driving them efficiently to closure.
• Develop a strong understanding of residential power systems and applicable governing codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with cross functional stakeholders across the organization to achieve program goals and meet assigned responsibilities.
• Operate within established financial guidelines, including project expenses, capital allocations, and target product costs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited institution 5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering product design experience 3+ years of CAD modeling experience; Pro-E CREO / Inventor / Solid Works or similar Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. • Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution Root Cause Analysis experience & practice Test planning and documentation Proficient use of heat transfer skills sets and basic electrical principles Attentive to detail - able to work/think independently Direct work experience within Residential power systems / components General knowledge of manufacturing specifications and/or principles Experience with molding, stamping and assembly manufacturing processes Gated product development process Transparent and effective communication skills; written & verbal DFSS Greenbelt / Blackbelt Certification Patent / disclosure history All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
