) Since the early 1980's weve partnered with municipal clients to deliver practical, innovative solutions in water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal engineering . From treatment facilities to complex utility infrastructure, we focus on engineering solutions that are reliable, efficient, and built to serve communities for the long haul. Were currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Manager, PE to join our expanding team in our Pittsburgh office. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, working on meaningful projects, and collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and practical problem-solving, youll fit right in.Day in-and-out in a nutshell:
- Lead the design and development of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Design and specify systems related to pumps, blowers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation.
- Develop detailed electrical engineering designs, construction documents, and technical specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field investigations to evaluate existing conditions and gather critical information related to proposed system upgrades and improvements.
- Assist clients with troubleshooting electrical and operational issues within existing treatment and pumping systems.
- Provide startup, commissioning, and operational support for newly installed electrical and control systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop efficient, reliable, and maintainable solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly and successfully.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to solve technical challenges and support critical infrastructure systems that communities depend on every day.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred.
- Experience in the detailed design of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, blowers, VFDs, SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation.
- Comfortable working both in the office and in the field, whether that means investigating existing systems, troubleshooting operational issues, or supporting system startups.
- Understanding of how to balance technical precision with practical, real-world application.
- Communicates well with clients, contractors, and team members and can confidently work through technical challenges in collaborative environments.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality work.
- Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license

We have multiple PE's and will consider candidates who are willing and able to obtain their PE within about 6-9 months time.- Leadership skills/abilities.
