Project Manager:
Architecture/Engineering Job Description The role requires the ability to read and interpret construction methods, materials, and codes along with site requirements, building engineering, and designs across various disciplines including architectural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineering. The successful candidate will effectively manage project-related change orders, provide in-house technical support, and assist in training AutoCAD specialists. Responsibilities Review, track, and verify project-related change orders and implement corrections to prevent reoccurrence. Provide in-house technical support and general problem solving while managing work performed by architects, vendors, and contractors. Assist in the training of AutoCAD specialists. Manage and communicate changes to internal and external customers. Respond promptly to requests from landlords, contractors, vendors, and governing authorities. Assist in designing engineering concepts and fixture plan layouts, building scopes of work, and setting deadlines. Seek to improve accuracy, productivity, and effectiveness of engineering processes. Value engineer plans and specifications to reduce construction costs while maintaining quality. Stay updated on software training (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Virtual Premise) and code revisions. Perform necessary clerical duties, research, and present findings to management using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Essential Skills Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in reading construction documents, planning, organizing, and documenting. Creative technical problem-solving and strong reasoning skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Skills & Qualifications Working knowledge of the retail environment is a plus. Team-oriented mindset. Work Environment The position is based at the headquarters in Salisbury. There is an option to work from home one day per week. The company fosters a strong culture of collaboration and support, with team members having tenures ranging from a few years to 40 years. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
