Job Description

Horizon Engineering, located in Pennsburg, PA is a leading provider of high quality civil engineering services to a wide range of private and public sector clients throughout eastern Pennsylvania. As a small, family owned business in operation since 2001, Horizon Engineering is able to provide flexibility and diversity in the projects their team handles. We are looking for a full-time Engineering Project Manager to join our team. Horizon Engineering provides engineering and surveying services on a diversity of project types including site development, subdivisions, roadway construction, bridge projects and aviation facilities. Role Description The primary duties of the Engineering Project Manager will be communication with clients, oversight of and participation in project design activities, coordinating the permits and approvals process, coordination of consultants, monitoring project status, public meeting presentation/testimony, writing proposals, and managing project budgets and billing. A motivated individual looking to fast-track their career is the prime candidate. Flexible and hybrid scheduling is available. Qualifications 4-year engineering degree required 5 or more years civil engineering experience (Flexible depending on work history) Pennsylvania Licensed P.E. or E.I. on track to becoming licensed within the next year Experience with storm-water design and permitting, sewage planning, grading, utility design, and related facets of the subdivision and land development process. Excellent communication skills Recent experience with CAD and preparing and editing drawings
