Civil Project Manager | PE | Drinking Water Quincy, MA Full-TimeHybrid$130,000 - $160,000 /yr Posted May 18, 2026 Project Manager - Drinking Water (Also seeking Senior Project Manager and Principal level candidates) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Drinking Water division. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water-related projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while delivering quality results within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate drinking water projects from inception to completion. Oversee the design, construction, and operation of pump stations and booster stations. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion. Supervise project teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Conduct calculations and evaluations for water systems design and treatment plants. Prepare proposals, fee proposals, and contract documents for project execution. Facilitate public meetings to communicate project details and gather community feedback. Monitor project expenses and labor costs to maintain financial integrity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project oversight within the drinking water sector. Strong knowledge of water distribution systems, treatment plants, and pump station design. Experience in proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling for completion. Excellent supervisory and mentoring skills with the ability to lead diverse teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for public meetings and stakeholder engagement. Project Manager position offers hybrid flexibility with base of $130-160K. Sr. Project Manager level offer hybrid schedule at multiple local offices with $160-190K base.
