Job Description

Construction AdministratorBe the Key Link Between Design and Construction Do you enjoy being at the center of a project—where design meets reality? We're seeking a Construction Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects from groundbreaking through closeout. In this role, you won't just review documents—you'll drive project success, working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure every detail aligns with the design vision. What You'll Do + Lead and manage construction administration activities from start to project closeout + Serve as a key point of contact between the design team, contractors, and clients + Review and interpret AIA contracts, specifications, and construction documents + Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, and construction correspondence + Perform site visits and construction observations to verify quality, progress, and compliance + Monitor field conditions and proactively coordinate solutions with internal teams + Participate in construction meetings, helping resolve issues and keep projects on track + Review applications for payment to ensure accuracy and alignment with project progress + Maintain organized, detailed logs and documentation using tools like Newforma and Bluebeam + Promote quality, accountability, and strong communication across all project stakeholders What You Bring + Experience as a Construction Administrator within an architecture or engineering firm + Degree or certification in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field + Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing + Working knowledge of AIA contract documents and specifications + Ability to confidently perform site visits and document field observations + Experience reviewing contractor pay applications and construction documentation + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with clients + Willingness to travel to project sites as needed What Sets You Apart + CCCA certification + Experience with Newforma and Bluebeam + Background in healthcare, senior living, higher education, or multi-family projects + Experience working in a multidisciplinary design firm + Exposure to both architectural and engineering coordination Why You'll Love Working Here + Be at the center of the action
