Director of Structural Engineering Services

Director of Structural Engineering Services Contractor Nation | Remote (U.S.-Based) Contractor Nation is seeking a highly experienced, systems-oriented structural engineering leader to help build and scale the future of engineering support for one of North America's leading networks of specialty residential contractors. This is not a traditional engineering role. We're looking for someone who understands how engineering can improve speed, responsiveness, permitting, homeowner experience, and operational scalability for growing contractors.

foundation repair crawl space repair basement waterproofing structural stabilization helical/push pier systems SmartJack systems structural wood repair concrete lifting What You'll Do Lead and evolve engineering support strategy Support residential structural remediation and foundation repair projects Review and/or oversee PE-stamped plans, letters, and repair recommendations Develop scalable workflows, standards, and documentation processes Improve turnaround times, consistency, and dealer experience Collaborate with operations, production, sales, and permitting teams Help shape a long-term engineering platform supporting contractors across the U.S. and Canada Ideal Background PE license required Multi-state licensure strongly preferred 10+ years structural engineering experience Residential remediation, foundation repair, forensic, or restoration engineering experience preferred Systems/process-oriented mindset Contractor-friendly communicator Entrepreneurial and responsive Compensation $180,000-$250,000+ based on experience, licensure, and scope of responsibility, plus performance incentives. We are open to exploring full-time, consulting, strategic partnership, or hybrid arrangements for the right person. Remote flexibility available.
