This full‑time, remote role is based in Washington, DC and supports projects at U.S. embassies around the world, as well as projects across the DC Metro area.

STD, LTD DOS PROGRAM MANAGER
YOUR ROLE In this remote role, you will spend your day leading communication and coordination between the Department of State, NVE leadership, and teaming partners. You will guide the planning and development of task orders, shaping technical approaches, pricing strategies, staffing plans, and schedules. You will work closely with engineering, construction, logistics, and subject‑matter experts to ensure proposals meet Government requirements. Throughout the day, you will oversee the execution of electrical power system upgrades and infrastructure modernization projects, making sure site surveys, design work, procurement, and construction planning stay on track. You will provide technical oversight on electrical infrastructure efforts and review designs and construction strategies to ensure they meet project needs. You will monitor scope, schedule, and budget, identify risks, and plan for overseas mobilization and logistics. You will also support NVE's Department of State Special Projects program across the DC Metro area.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance 10+ years of experience managing engineering, construction, or infrastructure programs Experience managing Government contracts, preferably with the Department of State, DoD, or overseas infrastructure program Experience developing task order proposals or competitive project bids Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and construction partners Experience managing projects involving electrical infrastructure or power systems Ability to travel internationally as required Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and overseas projects Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience supporting the Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) programs Experience with international construction or embassy infrastructure projects PMP certification Experience with electrical distribution systems, generators, switchgear, and critical power systems Experience with design‑build or EPC project delivery Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and international electrical standards Experience managing IDIQ or task order‑based contracts
DOS PROGRAM MANAGER HOURS
This is a full‑time remote DOS Program Manager position with a standard business‑hours schedule. You will work remotely. Some international travel will be required to support overseas project execution.
