Registered PE License, BS or MS in Civil Structural Engineering, Industrial Structural Design experience, Engineering Leadership, Consulting expAbout the RoleAn established, privately held industrial engineering and design-build firm is seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineering Department Manager to lead its civil/structural discipline. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering work. The successful candidate will act as the senior technical authority for civil/structural projects while managing, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers and designers.Note:
This position is strictly focused on industrial facilities. No residential, commercial, or retail project experience is applicable.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Civil/Structural Engineering departmentSchedule staff and resources in coordination with project leadershipMentor engineers; conduct performance reviews and support professional developmentParticipate in hiring and workforce planningServe as Lead Civil/Structural Engineer on projectsPrepare, review, and approve engineering designs, drawings, and calculationsPerform advanced structural design of:
