Engineering Manager As an Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the delivery of high-quality products and solutions, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure that Honeywell remains a global technology leader, delivering solutions that improve the quality of life for people around the world. Responsibilities Lead and manage a group of Engineers, technicians, and support specialists for the fabrication and/or repair of test equipment for Aerospace Electronic Solutions business to deliver high-quality products and solutions. Manage workflow as focal point for CLW eFAB WRS (Accept, review, child creation, assign, status, and complete) Manage priority based on customer needs, schedule, and HMR milestones Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for optimization Identify and mitigate risks and issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions Staff team based on MAT demand / proposals HPD responsibilities (Mid-year, PDS, IPD, Succession planning) Collaborate with other teams to ensure priorities met Report YoY cost savings Mentor engineers / technicians on electronic principles and design Develop and execute engineering strategies to drive business growth and meet customer requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics 6+ years of experience in engineering management Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering engineering projects Strong expertise in engineering principles, project management, and team leadership Experience with aerospace engineering processes and standards, product lifecycle management, and quality assuranceUS PERSON REQUIREMENTS
