Job Description
Job Description Summary GE Vernova is leading a new era of energy by accelerating the transition to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable solutions. As a Generator Project Engineering Manager (PEM), you will be responsible for overseeing project engineering outcomes, coordinating resources to ensure timely engineering definitions of components and installation procedures. The PEM will also communicate project status to stakeholders, conduct technical reviews with customers, and provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation of generator components. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Manage a cross-functional engineering team to define generator components. Own the engineering execution of generator upgrades from contract signature to the completion of GE's contractual obligations. Review customer specifications and communicate project requirements to all design functions using internal documentation systems. Ensure that released components and procedures fulfill contract, regulations and quality requirements. Providing technical guidance and assistance to Project Management and GE's internal engineering teams. Provide technical support to engineering, sourcing, vendors, and installation teams to ensure equipment meets all customer requirements and business objectives. Ensure risk management tracking, implement risk mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed. Develop, monitor and coordinate engineering project schedules to ensure parts on time delivery. Manage engineering budget. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university and 6+ years of relevant experience in a technical field, or a High School Diploma / GED with 10+ years of relevant experience in a technical field. 5+ years of Project management experience in complex engineering projects. Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk management. Desired Characteristics Experience in Generator Engineering, Power Generation Operation or Generator related activity. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Leadership skills, empathy, collaboration, continuous improvement mindset. Proficiency in Excel or programming tools to automate manual tasks. Excellent organization skills to follow on project needs and process requirements. Enforce quality procedures and participate in their improvement. June 05, 2026 For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.Bonus eligibility:
