Project Executive - K-12 Education / DSA Division Leader in SoCal A highly respected and nationally recognised general contractor is seeking a proven project executive to help establish and lead the growth of its Southern California K-12 Education / DSA Division. This is a unique opportunity for a relationship driven construction leader with deep routes in the SoCal public education market to build and expand a new regional division backed by the resources, reputation, and operational strength of an established GC platform. Position Overview The Project Executive will play a critical leadership role in developing the company's K-12 education presence across Southern California. This individual will lead client engagement, pursue and secure new work, oversee project execution, and help build the operational team and long term strategy for the division. This role is ideal for someone who already has an established network within school districts, program management firms, architects, and the broader DSA/public works community and is looking for the opportunity to build something significant within a well capitalized and highly reputable organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic growth of the Southern California
K-12 / DSA
construction division Develop and maintain strong relationships with school districts, architects, program managers, and public agency stakeholders Drive business development efforts and secure negotiated and competitive work opportunities Leverage existing client relationships and market presence to establish a strong regional pipeline Provide executive oversight of K-12 education and public works projects from preconstruction through closeout Partner with executive leadership on market strategy, hiring, operational planning, and long-term growth initiatives Help recruit, mentor, and build high-performing project teams across operations and preconstruction Ensure projects are delivered successfully with respect to budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction Represent the company at industry events, district functions, and community engagement opportunities Qualifications 10+ years of experience leading K-12 education construction projects in California Strong knowledge of DSA processes, public procurement, and public works construction Existing relationships and credibility within the Southern California K-12 market Proven ability to develop business and generate repeat client relationships Experience overseeing large-scale education construction projects and teams Strong leadership, operational, and strategic planning capabilities Experience with design-build, lease-leaseback, CM-at-risk, and negotiated delivery methods preferred Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to help build and scale a growing division Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $250,000 depending on experience Performance bonus and incentive potential Remote / hybrid work flexibility Executive-level leadership opportunity with significant growth potential Backing of a highly reputable and financially strong General Contractor Opportunity to help build and shape a premier Southern California K-12 division Please apply or reach out directly to: Harry.panther@goodallbrazier.com
