Regional Civil Engineering Manager ICOP, Inc. $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 - 401K, Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, Paid-time Off, Holidays, Short and Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Health Savings Account United States, Florida, Miramar May 11, 2026 Job Description ICOP is seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to work within our Florida region, managing a team of engineers responsible for the design and estimating of support of excavation, ground improvement, and foundation work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles. The candidate must also have proven leadership skills and the ability to oversee the technical and developmental needs of a growing engineering team. This position is remote. Summary The Regional Engineering Manager works closely with regional leadership on both preconstruction and final design engineering needs and priority management. The manager will direct others in the production of designs and drawings for support of excavation, ground improvement and foundation work, and may be required to complete these tasks themselves as workload requires. This individual is responsible for developing and reviewing preliminary designs for bidding purposes, overseeing the estimators in the pre-construction stage in the pursuit of value engineering ideas, and coordinate delivery of final design packages. This position works closely with both the operations and sales teams.

Technical Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and direct engineering workload for the regional engineering team. Perform or review preliminary designs of support of excavation, ground improvement, and other geotechnical systems. Provide feedback on the feasibility of ground improvement and support of excavation/structural design solutions. Prepare or review drawings and calculations packages for construction for support of excavation and ground improvement with supervision from principal engineers. Perform field observations of construction where appropriate. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals, both within ICOP and with outside firms, clients, and consultants.

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Civil Engineering with focus on geotechnical coursework, Masters preferred Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in Support of Excavation, Ground Improvement, or Geotechnical design PE license Strong technical writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Advanced Spanish preferred but not required
