We have 9 offices across Texas with a growing staff of nearly 90 water professionalsKey Responsibilities:
Grow Hazen's DLS presence in the region, develop existing and new clients in Texas Lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations Provide a high level of client service and development Perform project engineering and management for a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of structures for dams, levees, conveyance, and hydropower facilities Supervise and mentor a team of engineers Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Prepare assessment and design reports Perform design calculations Oversee the preparation of construction documents Provide construction phase engineering services throughout construction/commissioning of projects Perform dam inspections and site visits from planning through construction Occasional travel may be requiredRequired Qualifications:
PE license 15+ years of experience in the field of water related infrastructure (including project management) Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams Experience in Dam and Levee Safety and/or hydropower Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies Self-starter with attention to detail Strong organizational skillsWhat We Offer:
