Permanent Technical Program Manager•AI Transformation (Fintech Lender) San Diego / San Francisco (hybrid) $250-350k + bonus + equity Looking for a TPM who has delivered AI/ML systems in credit, lending, or underwriting environments A high-growth fintech lender is building an AI-first underwriting platform•aiming to automate large parts of credit decisioning and materially reduce cost-to-serve. They've recently hired a Chief Credit Officer to build a full AI + risk function from scratch . This is a core hire within that team.
The role:
Own end-to-end execution of AI initiatives across underwriting + lending workflows Translate AI concepts into structured delivery plans Coordinate engineering, data science, and external vendors Drive model deployment, integration, and governance Partner directly with senior leadership What they want: 5-10 yrs TPM / Engineering Program experience Recent AI / ML system delivery exposure Fintech / lending / credit experience (strong preference) Hands-on operator•not purely oversight Why it's interesting: True 0→1 AI transformation Small, high-impact team (~5 → 10) Exec visibility + influence Clear commercial impact (cost + pricing edge) CONTACT Conor Larkin Associate Vice President
