Vice President, Digital Products and Services 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 190 North Independence Mall West, Philadelphia, PA 19106 Hybrid work Full-time American College of Physicians 28 reviews Full-time The American College of Physicians (ACP), a prestigious medical membership association for doctors of internal medicine located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Vice President, Digital Products and Services (DPS). Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Vice President leads the design, development, deployment, and ongoing evolution of digital products and related services and platforms across the College. This is a hybrid position with two days per week in the Philadelphia office required.
Primary responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning and Alignment
  • Leading the conceptualization, design, and development of new digital programs, products, and services by assessing organizational needs and aligning with best fit technology solutions. Relationship Management
  • Building and sustaining trusted partnerships with internal and external technical and business area stakeholders to drive alignment, collaboration, and shared successes across the organization. Product Design and Development
  • Providing leadership and expertise in the design, development, and evolution of our extensive digital product and service portfolio, supporting medical education, member engagement, marketing and communications channels, digital publications, and underlying service platform evolution; ensuring solutions are user‑centered, scalable, integrated, secure, and aligned with College‑wide priorities.
Project Management
  • Overseeing and directly managing complex digital product initiatives using agile and iterative software engineering methodologies, coordinating cross‑functional resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Team Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and nurture multidisciplinary product design, systems engineering, and technical operations teams, providing clear strategic direction and fostering collaboration throughout the development lifecycle, from conceptualization through deployment; analyzing and operationalizing emerging technologies and techniques as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer sciences, digital or systems design, or a closely related technical field. Extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the software design and development process for a wide variety of modern, multi-tier, cloud-based application architectures. Excellent communication, project management, and relationship building skills. Experience navigating the dynamics of developing and delivering software systems for medical education and/or digital publishing domains in a non-profit/association setting is strongly preferred.
