Role Overview We are seeking a Strategic Engineering Leader who operates at the intersection of people, process, and long-term vision. This role is less about hands-on coding and more about architecting how exceptional engineering work gets done, aligning teams, scaling systems, and delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes. As a key leader within the organization, you will translate business strategy into disciplined engineering execution. You will shape a culture grounded in ownership, continuous growth, and operational excellence, while driving impact across hardware, software, and regulatory initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Partner with executive leadership to define and execute a forward-looking engineering strategy aligned with company objectives Translate business priorities into clear, actionable roadmaps that drive results Identify and implement opportunities to scale systems, teams, and processes to support long-term growth Team Leadership & Culture Lead, mentor, coach and develop engineering talent, fostering both individual growth and team performance Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement Champion a growth mindset and create an environment where individuals are empowered to do their best work Operational Excellence Design and optimize processes that enhance delivery speed, quality, and predictability Establish clear frameworks for prioritization, planning, and execution Proactively remove friction and strengthen cross-functional collaboration Impact & Delivery Ensure engineering efforts are aligned to high-impact business outcomes, not just output Balance near-term execution with long-term scalability and sustainability Drive alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Metrics Strategic Impact Alignment of engineering roadmap to business outcomes Measurable contribution to company-wide objectives Successful scaling of systems, processes, and team capabilities People & Culture Team engagement and feedback ratings Retention of high-performing talent Effective onboarding and productivity ramp within 90 days Internal mobility, promotions, and development progression Operational Excellence Percentage of projects delivered on time and within scope Consistency of sprint velocity (planned vs. actual) Resource utilization targets Predictability and reliability of delivery (planned vs. delivered work) Impact & Innovation Contribution to cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects Implementation of process improvements and efficiencies Reduction in bottlenecks and cross-team dependenciesQualifications Experience:
5+ years in engineering leadership, technical operations, or related rolesOperational Expertise:
Strong command of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, resource planning, and delivery frameworksTechnical Acumen:
Solid understanding of hardware/firmware development and cloud-based software lifecyclesLeadership:
