Mechanical Project Manager Location:
Columbia, SC 29209 Pay for the position: $85,000/yr plus DOE The right candidate will have years of experience managing all areas in the industrial mechanical realm. The following experience listed is needed from most to least important: Piping / Process Piping Millwright / Rigging (Equipment Setting) Structural Steel Installation Nested Maintenance -
Cap Experience HVAC Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Technical Degree or similar experience 7-10 years successful Mechanical PM experience Previous experience or familiar with estimating Strong computer skills (AutoCAD a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication Outstanding interpersonal skills Salary (depending on experience), Benefit Package Including Health Insurance, 401K Company Match, Vehicle, Gas Card, and more!
Essential Duties:
Be symbolic toward safety and demonstrate that safety is never compromised for any reason. Ensure that all work adheres to internal safety policies and OSHA compliance Lead projects in a manner that exceeds customer expectations Develop and maintain network of professional relationships within our industry Oversee project estimates Plan, schedule, and maintain timelines by optimizing resources in a fast-paced environment. Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting Participate in turnover meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field. Communicate with internal and external subcontractors Set clear goals for the Superintendents Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns Address change orders in a timely manner Manage all job closeout procedures Conduct post project reviews to identify opportunities and correct them Provide coaching as needed to Superintendents. Work with internal departments such as AP, Purchasing, Equipment, HR, and Finance as needed.
