Electrical Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Electrical Design Manager to lead electrical engineering and design activities for large-scale critical infrastructure and power distribution projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader with expertise in low-voltage (LV) electrical systems, project execution, and cross-functional team leadership. The Electrical Design Manager will oversee electrical design deliverables, mentor engineering teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support the successful execution of multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical design engineering team across multiple projects Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical specifications Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable electrical standards Coordinate with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and project management teams Manage engineering schedules, resource planning, and project priorities Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to ensure project quality and reliability Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers and designers Support customer meetings, project planning, and technical discussions Monitor project progress, KPIs, and issue resolution Drive continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices Support successful project execution from design through manufacturing and delivery Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience 3-5 years of engineering leadership or management experience Strong experience with low-voltage power distribution systems Proficiency with Auto

CAD, SEE

Electrical, or similar electrical design tools Strong understanding of NEC, UL, IEEE, and NFPA standards Proven ability to manage technical teams and multiple engineering projects Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial systems, or energy sectors Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, or power distribution equipment Customer-facing engineering leadership experience Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing or project-driven environments.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
