Job Description
Experience:
Manager Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year Job Details - Job Duties Lead the design and development of structural flooring systems and components from concept through production. Own structural analysis, load calculations, and performance validation, ensuring products meet real-world application and manufacturing requirements. Develop and implement load management strategies to ensure product integrity and safety. Establish engineering standards, specifications, and best practices for design, materials, and performance. Drive value engineering initiatives to improve cost, manufacturability, and product performance. Lead all product testing, validation, and certification efforts across domestic and international markets. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee failure analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage engineering projects including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Maintain engineering documentation, drawing control, and revision management systems. Partner with manufacturing to ensure designs align with fabrication processes (sheet metal, welding, forming, coatings). Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, customers, and external partners on technical requirements and solutions. Communicate engineering updates, risks, and project milestones to leadership. Travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally to support manufacturing, testing, and customer initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience in manufacturing design engineering with a strong focus on structural systems. Proven experience with structural analysis, load testing, and product validation. Experience working with engineered building products, structural systems, or similar applications. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, welding, forming, and coatings. Experience with product certification, quality testing, and regulatory compliance across multiple markets. Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects and drive cross-functional collaboration. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.A bit about us:
