As a result of our expansive and continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated supervisor to lead staff within our Architecture South group at one of the following Mead & Hunt office locations: Tampa (FL), Lexington (SC), or North Charleston (SC).

Responsibilities include:

Supervising, managing, and mentoring architectural staff Evaluating staff performance and helping with goal setting for professional growth Assisting project managers with staffing assignments Managing staff productivity to meet target goals Providing project management or leading architectural technical leadership on projects that include local/state/federal government and aviation projects across the country, including project deliverables such as reports, studies, specifications, and construction documents Providing quality (QC) reviews Assisting in the development of design and production standards Other tasks as assigned. A valid driver's license and travel will be required. The successful candidate must meet at least both the following requirements: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university At least 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate degree in architecture from an accredited college or university At least 5 years of relevant experience OR If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant architectural experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following: Architectural license At least 7 years of relevant experience is highly preferred Supervising or mentoring staff Coordinating multiple stakeholders, including public agencies and/or military clients Project Management Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors. Leading design and drawing production
