Assignment of final responsibility could be in any one of the following Interiors organizations listed below. • Process/Tools + Design Engineering

• Position Responsibilities:

• + Keep safety and quality at the forefront of all activities.

+ Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering. + Leads development of engineering solutions for the Payloads Engineering function in support of current and future commercial airplane products. + Provides oversight to complex projects; integrating multiple considerations including: suppliers, interfacing engineering teams, production system needs, regulations, and airline requirements. + Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. + Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports across Global Boeing team + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. + Manages, develops and motivates employees.

• Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) + 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Industry + 3+ years of experience within Boeing Commercial Airplanes + Experience with project management methodologies + Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion
• Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• + 3+ years of experience leading aerospace design engineering teams and integrating within a global supply base and product value streams + Knowledge of Boeing products and processes + Knowledge of aircraft Cabin and Cargo products + Experience with commercial aircraft certification processes and regulations + Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values + Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement + Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team •
