Transp. Engr/Transp. Engr. Assoc. II - Engineering Senior Assistant Program Manager (61034237)

Job Responsibilities Manages project funding and budgets, including expenditures for project(s) for compliance with budget through completion of construction, develops and manages project schedules, and recommends and plans to ensure schedules are met. Manages with limited supervision projects and small programs (MPO, COG, bridge replacements/rehab, enhancements). Prepares program/project monthly updates, cost estimates, cash flow projections, P2S requests correspondence (CTS and others), and other required project documentation. Conducts project scoping, field reviews, and project meetings with essential personnel and outside entities. Attends public meetings, as well as prepare and perform presentations to the MPOs, COGs, CTSs, and civic organizations. Coordinates and conducts consultant negotiations and scope development. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and four (4) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions involves sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. This position may require occasional travel. May require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, and kneeling. Walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards. May be required to work outside normal business hours or respond to emergency situations.
