Senior Regional Engineering Manager:
As the Senior Regional Engineering Manager, you will lead the development of operational strategies, drive excellence, and provide expert technical guidance across multiple locations. Your role involves optimizing M&E processes and addressing key challenges to enhance plant performance. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the
Senior Regional Engineering Manager :
Lead engineering teams across multiple plant locations to ensure optimal plant performance, supervising Project Engineering teams and projects. Manage a diverse group of engineering disciplines and oversee priority projects and capital/expense plans to drive effective resource utilization. Guide equipment comparison tests, develop master plans, and collaborate on process discipline to ensure operational efficiency. Oversee plant utilities and process discipline, working closely with the Infrastructure Group to achieve operational excellence. Manage a significant Annual Capital Budget, aligning investments with strategic goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Plant Operations and Maintenance leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing operational performance through strategic implementation. Lead the evaluation of M&E process gaps, foster a culture of improvement within departments, and emphasize cost savings and process optimization. Drive the enhancement of the Engineering Excellence assessment process to ensure ongoing evolution and relevance. Provide technical leadership, oversee production technologies, and implement technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Education & Experience Requirements of the
Senior Regional Engineering Manager:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution along with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated experience in team management/development and project leadership Proficiency in engineering principles, project management, contract administration, and national codes and standards interpretation Experience with engineering economics, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite Willingness to travel to other locations as needed (up to 50% of the time) Knowledge of engineering principles related to food processing and the meat industry Experience managing multi-million dollar projects with large scopes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with others Responsible for team direction, evaluation, and compliance with organizational policies and laws
