This role owns new product development from concept through production, with a strong emphasis on electromechanical systems and connected product integration. The position oversees a team across mechanical, electrical/controls, and motor design, driving innovation, product strategy, and execution across multiple product lines. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of 7-10 engineers across mechanical, controls, and motor disciplines Own full lifecycle product development (concept through commercialization) Drive innovation in electromechanical product design and performance Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure successful launches Establish and improve R D processes, prioritization, and execution discipline Align engineering efforts with business goals, cost targets, and timelines Qualifications 10-15+ years in product development / R D within consumer or industrial products Prior leadership experience managing engineering teams Strong background in electromechanical systems (motors, controls, hardware) Experience leading new product development initiatives Exposure to connected products / IoT-enabled devices
