Job Description:
Job description: Lead the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving quality systems, procedures, and metrics across manufacturing operations. Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and third-party audits, corrective actions, and product quality issues. Implement and drive Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce variability, defects, and non-conformities. Monitor quality KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and report results to senior management. Develop, mentor, and train quality personnel to enhance team performance and engagement. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve root causes of quality issues using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC). Oversee supplier quality performance and assist in qualification and audit activities. Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Lean Practitioner Certification. Proven track record of leading successful quality initiatives and managing cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis). Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities. Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems (preferred). Experience using Microsoft Point for document control and collaboration (preferred). Demonstrated success leading Continuous Improvement initiatives (preferred).
