Job Description

Job Summary CST is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives across manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued success and development of the local Quality Team by maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with CST, ISO, and as applicable API guidlines. Your leadership will drive a culture of quality, foster compliance with industry regulations, and support operational efficiency through rigorous analysis and inspection processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about maintaining superior quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties Lead and develop the local Quality team, while aligning with enterprise Quality functions to drive a positive, consistent, high-performing Quality functions to drive a positive, consistent, high-performing Quality culture across operations and support funtions. Own and continuously improve the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable API standards, while enhancing effectiveness, scalability, and audit readiness. Promote and enforce robust processes for Quality event management, including nonconformance handling, risk assessment, root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions (CAPA), ensuring timely closure, verified effectiveness, and sustained Quality at the Source. Monitor and report Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), translating data into actionable insights and driving accountability for gap closure. Communicate requirements and customer concerns to the team in an effective, professional manner. Manager supplier audits and their processes in accordance with CST guidlines. Interface with others both internal and external to the company and communicate quality challenges in a professional and effective manner. Manager the external testing of materials and products as required. Prepare and manager department budget. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing quality management with a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt preferred, with 3 years in a Lean environment. Effective coaching and mentoring skills, Management or Demonstrated Leadership Experience preferred. Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to work within and be an active memeber of cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough quality audits and analyze complex data sets for process improvements. Excellent analysis skills coupled with effective communication abilities to lead cross-functional teams in achieving quality objectives. Experience with implementation and sustainment of Quality System. Ability to coordinate measuring machine calibration schedules and oversee routine inspections to uphold measurement integrity.
