Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Program Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to lead Upper Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense Production and Post-Production programs. This position requires dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented leadership to develop, implement and manage a comprehensive, continuous improvement strategy which leverages input from internal Lockheed Martin (LM) cross-functional peers, external supply chain counterparts, functional and site Quality management personnel, and Customer representatives. What You Will Be Doing The position must collaborate extensively with representatives of the US Government and senior LM executives, and demonstrate proficiency in leading diverse, geographically dispersed high-performance technical teams in driving effective, affordable continuous improvement solutions that enable efficient, capable, and consistent system performance. Key deliverables of this position include a positive customer relationship as evidenced by excellent Contract Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) scores, and a stable and uninterrupted delivery of compliant product. This position is required to seamlessly integrate with MFC disciplines, assess and provide insight into the effectiveness of Quality systems infrastructure at key suppliers and LM Production sites, and represent the UTIAMD Programs and Quality and Mission Success (QMS) Organization at key program and executive staff meetings, Developed Quality Management System requirements and governmental regulatory standards. Drive strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System. Experience in managing the development, modification, application, and maintenance of quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Experience with control and disposition of non- conforming material. Demonstrated ability to identify solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using tools like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action Experience in establishing performance metrics and conducting data analysis to identify process improvements. Experienced in Risk Management techniques Experience in developing and implementing processes to mitigate risks Experience in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE). Experience as an Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) Superior communication skills (both oral and written) Effective presentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in diverse teams implementing and executing innovative solutions Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain and all other stakeholders Experience in strategy development and deployment Experience in the recruitment and development of talent to strengthen the organization Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Experienced Quality professional with strong mechanical, electrical, electronic or Systems integration skills and business acumen. Ability to travel (less than 50%) Experience as a team lead and facilitator. Experience working with Government customers. Experience in the recruitment and development of talent to strengthen the organization. Advanced experience in applied Quality Engineering principles, Supplier Quality Engineering practices in Aerospace industry. Experienced in Quality Management Systems (i.e. AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145, TS16949
) Desired Skills:
Candidate should possess experience in multiple Technical, Quality Assurance & Business elements. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). Technical Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Industrial Engineering). Lean / Six
Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience. Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment / Property during field, ground or operational tests. Developed and implemented a Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Enterprise strategy which integrates cross functional teams in the execution of processes and needed technical solutions including Quality, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, etc. Utilized quality methodologies and MFC policies and procedures. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
