The Chief Engineer is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the engineering operations within our organization. This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in HVAC and high voltage applications. The Chief Engineer will manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, along with the ability to read and interpret schematics and utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise engineering teams to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to project timelines. Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards. Manage high voltage electrical systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed during installation and maintenance. Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Fabricate components as necessary to support engineering projects while adhering to specifications. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement corrective actions. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency. Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Takes initiative and completes tasks Requirements Proven experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably as a Chief Engineer or similar position. CPO Certified Pool Maintenance Plumbing Knowledge with electronic lock system Saflok/ Dormakaba Knowledge of PTAC units Proficiency in reading schematics and utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in the field is preferred.
