Job Description Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B contract documents Interview, evaluate, and select MEP subcontractors Manage day-to-day performance of MEP subcontractors across job sites Review and approve change orders and monthly requisitions Conduct site walks and ensure alignment with project schedule Coordinate with BIM and VDC teams to maintain clash-free progression Review all MEP submittals and track long-lead equipment Collect and manage inspection and testing documentation Oversee MEP and fire protection contractors along with commissioning teams Coordinate with owner vendors and third-party testing agencies Manage closeout documentation including as builts, O&Ms, and attic stock Support multi-trade coordination across complex scopes Lead coordination, owner, subcontractor, and field meetings Secure approvals from all relevant authorities having jurisdiction Support tenant fit-out and retail scopes where applicable Develop and complete punch lists and worklists Coordinate with utility providers for project requirements Lead life safety coordination and inspections Ensure alignment across drawings, specs, and field execution MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Traveling MEP Project Manager should have: Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field 10+ years of experience with MEP and fire protection systems 5+ years of project management experience Proven experience on ground-up mission critical or data center projects Strong understanding of BIM and VDC coordination tools Knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and LEED standards Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications Familiarity with local, state, and industry building codes Experience with testing, balancing, and commissioning practices Strong communication skills across field and executive levels Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to travel extensively based on project needs What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $117800 to $152600 USD.
