Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The position is 100% onsite. The Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and reliability across the manufacturing lifecycle. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. This person is responsible for monitoring quality performance, conducting testing and inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications. Key Responsibilities Conduct product qualification testing for assigned product lines. Lead and support NV weekly reviews and track ORT (Ongoing Reliability Testing) failures. Maintain ORT testing records and serve as the audit contact for test windows. Prepare and deliver weekly ORT test result reports. Manage ORT test equipment, including maintenance and environmental measurement controls. Oversee diagnostic test programs and manage golden sample controls. Partner with Engineering to support PFMEA validation and continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate and manage abnormal quality issues, driving corrective and preventive actions. Execute and manage ORT testing programs to ensure product reliability and compliance.
Qualifications Engineering Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering or quality engineering, including hands-on involvement in design, development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
Leadership Experience:
At least 2 years of experience leading teams or overseeing engineers/technicians.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality tools. Experience with Minitab and familiarity with ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
standards required.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Proven ability to diagnose complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
Data Analysis:
Demonstrated capability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
Software Proficiency:
Experience with quality management systems and relevant engineering tools.
Compliance Knowledge:
Strong understanding of regulatory and industry standards to ensure product compliance.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
