Permanent Employment Help for . Garvers Aviation Planning Team is seeking a Senior Aviation Planner to support our growing team. This position will work within Garver's Aviation Planning team and with engineering teams to lead airport planning projects and technical planning studies for Part 139 and general aviation airports. Technical planning work may include, but is not limited to, inventory of existing conditions, forecasting, capacity analysis, facility requirements, alternatives development and CIP planning for master plan projects and other planning studies. Responsibilities will include elements of landside, airside, and support facilities planning. System planning elements are also included in the list of possible assignments.
Responsibilities in the role include but are not limited to:
Performing planning activities as part of a larger planning team
Working collaboratively with engineering teams to support design projects
Participating in and directing the production of high-quality exhibits and documents to communicate the results of the planning study elements
Leading/managing planning projects and working closely with our clients
Contributing significantly to the overall success of the team and the teams projects

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in aviation management, aeronautical science, planning, engineering, or a related field
6+ years of experience in aviation planning for Part 139 and GA airports or similar experience
Technical expertise in standard airport planning procedures and approaches.
Knowledge of FAA regulations, FAA Advisory Circulars, and FAA orders that apply to airport planning
Proficient in tabulation, data management, software, and publication programs used for airport planning
Preferences:
At least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm environment
At least 2 years of experience working with FAA ADIP
Texas aviation market experience
