You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Manager (Level 5) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering
  • Dallas Electrical Shop PWB/PCB team.
Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality printed wiring boards (PWB) that enable mission‑critical missile systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Manager (Level 5) you will be responsible for leading the Electronics Fabrication effort within the Dallas Electrical Shop. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Define, implement, and continuously improve PWB manufacturing processes and work instructions. Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to meet schedule, quality, and cost targets. Coordinate with design, test, and supply‑chain partners to resolve fabrication issues and ensure compliance with missile‑system requirements. Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action programs for non‑conformances and reliability challenges. Champion lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives that reduce waste and enhance affordability. Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of related
PWB / PCB
Manufacturing or Process control experience.
  • Experience manufacturing
PWB / PCB
assemblies to IPC and J-STD specifications.
  • Experience with managing PWB/PCB manufacturing engineers
  • Must have the ability to obtain a
Secret Clearance Desired Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data
  • Ability to liaison between LM Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and LM shop(s) Production Operations
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
)

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
