Job Description

Engineering simplicity into every project, every site, every time. The Production Engineering Manager leads a cross-functional team that creates reliable and innovative processes across five US and Canada production sites. This role is responsible for translating Large Projects & Complex Customers requests into simplified manufacturing work instructions for a seamless execution at the shop floor level. It will also continuously reassess team strategy at an organizational level as well as a systems level to manage incoming flow of large project work. What You'll Bring Master's degree (mechanical or industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent), required. Eight (8) years' experience in manufacturing or production engineering, inclusive of three (3) years in a leadership capacity, required. Proven experience leading cross-site and/or multi-functional teams, required. Experience in Lean manufacturing, ERP System (SAP) and process improvement, required. Demonstrated success in building and developing a high-performing team. Ability to navigate complex topics, explain leadership and develop results through collaboration. Strong analytical skills, inclusive of complex analysis and communicating complex topics at different levels in the organization. High level of commitment, eager to learn with the ability to work in a structured and self-reliant way. Concentrated attention to detail while maintaining focus on the bigger picture, including cross-functional and global operational views. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
