What you'll do: •
Team Leadership and Development:
Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of technical staff, including RAN engineers, Implementation Managers, OSP technicians, project managers; manage strategic relationships and vendor negotiations. •
Network Planning and Technical Expertise:
Lead planning, design, installation, and optimization of RAN and OSP infrastructure, providing expert consultation and managing contract resources; coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement advanced technologies and continuous improvement initiatives. •
Project Management and Execution:
Direct teams in the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of network construction and engineering projects, including copper removal and integration of fiber and mobility builds to optimize infrastructure. •
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, oversee capital expenditures, and ensure efficient allocation of financial and human resources; manage inventory, tool budgeting, procurement, and supplier coordination. •
Compliance, Safety, and Standards:
Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies; conduct in-field safety and quality inspections and enforce safety protocols. What you'll need: Lead and develop high-performing teams responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, construction, implementation, and optimization of 5G and Fiber Network infrastructure. Ensure seamless project execution, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement through expert technical leadership, effective stakeholder collaboration, and efficient resource management across RAN, OSP, fiber, and project management functions. What you'll bring: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
Environmental Requirements:
This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.
