By noon, you've reframed a risk scenario with data and an executable mitigation plan. By end of day, your stakeholders—internal and customer—are aligned on scope, timeline, budget, and quality for a strategically critical program valued between $20-70M. That's the cadence of this role. As a senior individual contributor, you'll lead complex, cross-functional initiatives through influence rather than direct authority. Your credibility, communication, and delivery discipline turn ambiguity into predictable outcomes in high-stakes environments. This is a US-based remote position with significant travel (approximately 50-70%). What you'll lead Own end-to-end delivery of multifaceted projects and programs—planning through closeout—ensuring outcomes match strategic intent. Build comprehensive plans spanning scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk strategies; keep baselines current and visible. Select and tailor delivery methodologies to fit project scale, complexity, and business objectives. Hold teams accountable to time, cost, and quality—driving on-time, on-budget, in-scope delivery. Governance and risk—done right Stand up governance that reflects organizational standards and best practices, with clear decision rights and cadence. Continuously surface and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; implement pragmatic mitigation and contingency plans. Escalate the right topics at the right time to protect critical path and alignment. Ensure process adherence, tool hygiene, and accurate, timely reporting. Stakeholder leadership Earn trust with customers, business sponsors, and delivery teams; operate as the single, reliable point of contact. Facilitate crisp, consistent communication across internal and external partners. Influence decisions through structured analysis, clear storytelling, and data-driven insights. Planning, coordination, and continuous improvement Support portfolio and program prioritization, sequencing, and capacity alignment. Coordinate cross-functional resources to align deliverables and schedules. Measure performance and seed improvements in delivery practices across teams. Document and share best practices and lessons learned; informally mentor junior PMs and team members. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including 3+ years in a senior/lead capacity. Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and within budget. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Hands-on experience orchestrating detailed schedules across engineering, manufacturing, installation, and integration workstreams. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, risk management, and contract coordination. Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, and SAP (or similar enterprise tools). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field required; Master's preferred. PMP strongly preferred; additional methodology certifications are a plus. Knowledge of the material handling industry is a plus. Your impact will be measured by consistent, predictable delivery and strengthened customer confidence in our execution.
