Engineering Project Manager

The Project Manager will be working closely with the operations team members, to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, budgets, and schedules are on track. Under the direction of the Engineering, the PM will oversee and manage selected capital projects for the WMC sites, with proper project scoping, planning, development, and execution. Opportunity To:

• Plans and leads projects with the ability to build and lead effective internal and external project teams.
• Manages project scope, budget, schedules, finances, risks, and resources to meet project objectives.
• Uses Front-End Loading (FEL) and/or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and the Stage-Gate Process for developing, leading and managing projects.
• Coordinates with and influences cross-functional teams with competing goals to gain alignment to the overall project plan and initiatives
• Defines scope, deliverables, successful criteria and key metrics of the project in conjunction with site personnel and other key stakeholders.
• Make effective presentations of technical material, both written and verbal. Prepares project reports/presentations for management reviews.
• Proactive in dealing with confrontation and delivering win-win solutions for business.
• Able to follow and champion the Project Management process to ensure effective project execution.
• Handling of permitting processes across various U.

S. regions

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or extended experience I Project Management.
• Focused on savings to perform better solutions with less budget.
• 10 years' experience of engineering in a manufacturing plant environment supporting and managing projects up to $25M
• 10 years of experience in Project Management with track record of executing projects successfully from concept to completion.
• Solid understanding of project management techniques and procedures required.
• Must be proficient with MS Office, MS Project and ACAD
• Experience running projects in the Steel Wire industry is a plus.
• Effective communication and presentation skills (verbal & written). Must be comfortable speaking with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of contracts (design & construction), schedules, cost estimating and the design process.
