We are now in our 29th year of providing excellent service to the energy industry. The Role This is a permanent full-time position supporting the growth of our new branch in Tyler Texas. This is a ground-up opportunity — you will play a foundational role in establishing and growing this new branch, with the full backing and support of our experienced Midland and Mustang locations. We are seeking an Electrical Manager who is embedded in the local oil and gas industry and is in good standing within the community. The right candidate brings relevant commercial, industrial, and oilfield experience, and a consistent focus on safety, cost control, and client satisfaction, with a history of producing quality work that meets or exceeds client needs. What our work looks like Selected candidates can be expected to: Manage and grow a team of Industrial Electricians in the Hobbs, NM area Mentor Electricians at all stages of their development Provide Electrical and Automation expertise for oil and gas technology throughout the area, delivering support of new products, technologies, electrical and automation projects Perform day-to-day Electrical installations and maintenance Be familiar with industry standard devices and systems (Allen Bradley PLCs, IDEC PLCs, SCADAPack, ABB Totalflow, Schneider PLC, ROC, Kimray, etc.) Assist with digital data communications (SignalFire radio, Pepwave and Microhard cellular modems, etc.) and other networking systems Work with Noralta's nTerface platform and system programmers, supporting new products, technologies, and projects Travel throughout the Tyler, TX region for new projects and in response to business needs Provide exceptional customer support to our clients Qualifications Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician certification 5-10 years of experience as an electrical manager performing electrical maintenance and installation in an oilfield environment Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements Be a team player and work closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and outside services Have a flexible work schedule — shift work, overtime, weekends, and schedule changes are routine and required aspects of this position Be proficient in fundamentals of lockout/tagout Have a knowledge of or ability to interpret the National Electric Code Be able to understand a project request from upper management, lay it out, determine and order materials needed, and be responsible for successful completion and start-up Possess the ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints Be experienced in performing preventive maintenance tasks, taking corrective action for repairs, and be knowledgeable in electrical equipment installations Have experience with AC & DC motors and drives Understand P&IDs Be able to climb ladders Personal qualities You hold honesty and integrity as core values.
