SSI is seeking a Space Operations Integrator for a role in El Segundo, CA. Serve as a subject matter expert in support to the U.S. Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying warfighter capabilities. As our Operations Integrator you will support our customer in a technical capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of system development and acquisitions that advance the USSF. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations).

Role and Responsibilities include:

Provide operations expertise to requirements and CONOPS development, systems design and testing, systems integration, tactical/operational command and control analysis. Assist in translating space operator mission requirements to developer capabilities. Review documentation, represent government as required in forums that support streamlined delivery of new capabilities and standardization of integration efforts. Assist with securely scaling development of prototyped systems to enterprise operational applications for space. Sustain development and refinement of acquisition strategies, as well as identify program execution issues and provide recommendations. Generate presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication products to assist the government customer in achieving favorable program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of experience with space systems. Must have experience in space operations. Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and rolled in the Continuous Vetting program (if applicable). Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs and consent to a polygraph examination (as required). $210,000 - $255,000 a year Target salary range: $210,000 - $255,000. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM program with 14 years of experience. 10+ years in a program management role, or 5+ years in a space engineering role with 5+ additional years in a program management role. Managing multiple contractors and customers, including engagement with Government

SETA/FFRDC/UARC

support. Classified space programs, preferably both at the Top Secret and compartmented access to inform integrated analysis, effectiveness, and utility. Development and presentations to O-6 and above Govt leadership, decision quality briefings, and papers. Problem-solving/critical thinking in complex and dynamic environments. Collaborating with IC professionals and understanding IC tasking mechanisms. Outer space environment, spacecraft operations, counterspace threats, space control systems. Expertise in Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, including sensor networks, data pipelines, analytics platforms, space object tracking techniques, data fusion, orbit determination, and conjunction assessment. Strong knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 Major Capability Acquisition System processes, JCIDS processes, and the PPBE process, with practical experience in applying acquisition policies to systems engineering. Proficiency in developing and managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), system architectures, and requirements traceability matrices. Professional certifications, such as INCOSE CSEP, DoD DAWIA Level III in Systems Engineering, or other recognized credentials. Experience with space-based technologies, such as electro-optical (EO) payloads, algorithms for space object detection, and SDA data processing/storage systems. Familiarity with operational needs and constraints in space units such as Delta 9, NSDC, JTF-SD, or CSpOC. Prior leadership on U.S. military space acquisition programs, particularly within SDA/S&R, including experience in requirements management, test planning, and risk management.
