Job Description

We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead a team responsible for supporting land development and utility infrastructure projects. This role oversees project coordination, technical reviews, permitting activities, and team operations while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily operations, project workload, and scheduling for the development review team. Review and process utility connection applications, construction-related permits, agreements, easements, and related documentation. Support engineering design reviews for water and wastewater infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Coordinate with internal departments, developers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution. Assist in resolving field construction and development-related issues. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members, including hiring and performance management activities. Develop and improve departmental procedures, workflows, and customer service practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within a short timeframe. Experience with utility infrastructure, land development, public works, or civil construction projects. Strong understanding of engineering design principles, permitting processes, and construction coordination. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
